Our Festival Story
Three years ago, during a simple team meeting, Jamie Peart, with J.P. Signature Group – Keller Williams, shared an idea that would change everything: what if we created a music festival that celebrates local artists and brings our community together through music? It wasn’t about putting on just another concert, it was about connection.
From the very beginning, the vision for the Music Festival of the Lowcountry was bigger than any one genre or crowd. We set out to build something that reflects the true spirit of the Lowcountry — a vibrant mix of styles, cultures, and stories. Over the years, our stages have come alive with everything from bagpipes and drum lines to country, rock, jazz, pop, and alternative. Every set, every note, every performance weaves another thread into the fabric of our community.
Today, we’re still rooted in that same promise: celebrate local talent, create shared experiences, and keep it open and accessible to all. That’s why the festival is completely free and we will continue to keep it that way as long as possible. Through generous donations and partnerships, we have been able to provide professional sound, stage and lights, grown into a 2-stage non-stop music festival. We welcome from 6-7 local food vendors, and do our best to provide the best experience the Lowcountry has to offer.
At its heart, this festival isn’t just about music. It’s about the artists, the volunteers, the families dancing in the grass, and the friends sharing laughter.
